Traditional Services

The traditional service includes the services of a funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming, other preparation of the body, use of home equipment, visitation room, and chapel for funeral ceremony or staff and equipment for off-premises ceremony, funeral coach, family car, service/lead car, utility van, and staff for the committal service.

Traditional Graveside Service

The traditional graveside service includes the services of a funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming, other preparations of the body, use of visitation room, staff, and equipment for graveside service, funeral coach, family car, service vehicle, utility van, and use of home equipment.

Traditional Cremation Service

The traditional cremation service includes the services of a funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming, other preparations of the body, use of visitation room and chapel for funeral ceremony or staff and equipment for off-premises ceremony, funeral coach for transfer to crematory, family car, service vehicle, and use of home equipment.

*Note: This service does not include the cremation container, (alternative container or cremation casket), cremation urn, urn vault (niche), staff and equipment for committal service at a cemetery, or the cremation fee. If the state requires medical examiner authorization in order to cremate, the fee is $50.00.

Memorial Service

The memorial service includes the services of a funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, shelter of remains for 24 hours, funeral coach for transfer to crematory or to place of body donation, use of visitation room, use of chapel for memorial service, or staff and equipment for off-premises memorial service, and home equipment.

*Note: This service does not include the cremation container, (alternative container or cremation casket), cremation urn, urn vault (niche), staff and equipment for committal service at a cemetery, or the cremation fee. If the state requires medical examiner authorization in order to cremate, the fee is $50.00.

Direct Cremation

The charge for direct cremation includes the removal of remains from the place of death, sheltering remains fro 24 hours, and transportation to the crematory, securing necessary authorizations and permits, and basic services of the funeral director and staff.

*Note: This service does not include the cremation container, (alternative container or cremation casket), cremation urn, urn vault (niche), staff and equipment for committal service at a cemetery, or the cremation fee. If the state requires medical examiner authorization in order to cremate, the fee is $50.00.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body, and can be made of materials like fiberboard and composition materials (with or without outside coverings). The containers we provide are from fiberboard and basic cardboard.

Immediate Burial

The charge for immediate burial includes removal of the deceased from place of death, local transportation to cemetery, necessary authorizations, and basic services of funeral director and staff. This charge does not include services or facilities for visitation, or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial.

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home

This charge includes removal of the deceased from the place of death, embalming, obtaining necessary authorizations, and transportation to Piedmont-Triad International Airport. This charge does not provide visitation or ceremony.

Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home

This charge includes removal of remains from Piedmont-Triad Airport, transportation to cemetery or crematory and basic services of staff. This charge does not include facilities or services for visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial.
