Ramona Ruth Allen

Ramona Ruth Spivey Allen, age 67 of Biscoe passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, Pinehurst, NC.  

Ramona was born in Montgomery County to Lacy Herman Spivey and Ruth Ramona Raths Spivey.  She was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church.  Mrs. Allen was a retired Hosiery Mill inspector for Clayson Knitting Co.  

Ramona is survived by her husband Clyde Allen of the home; brothers: Cletus Spivey (Deborah), Larry Spivey (Betty), Robert Spivey (Cyndria) and David Spivey, all of Biscoe; sister Mary Dunlap of Biscoe; several nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 S. Main St., Star, NC 27356.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with the Dr. Bruce Dickerson and Rev. Frankie Royal officiating.  Burial will be in Guiding Light Baptist Church Cemetery, 3355 Spies Rd., Star, NC.
