Agnes Ruth Lindsey, 78, of 155 Forest Hill Village Road, Mount Gilead, died Saturday, March 09, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional . Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery. She was a native of Binghamton,NY and taught adult basic education. Surviving are her Sons: Floyd Lindsey, Jr., and wife, Lorrie, Chester, SC Terry Lindsey, and wife, Elizabeth, Iron Station, NC Daughters: Connie Stroud and Steve Weddington, VA Shiela L. Decker and husband, Joe, Mount Gilead, NC Daughter by choice: Dotye Bronson, Biscoe, NC Brother: Herman Doetsch, Asheville, NC Sister: Josephine Buck, Winter Haven, FL 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 7 Great-great-grandchildren Mrs. Lindsey was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Lindsey, Sr.; son, Keith Dwayne Lindsey; daughter, Sara Decker; two brothers, and one sister. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
