Eagle Springs - Alvin Lee Hoover, 71, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
No funeral services are planned at this time.
Mr. Hoover was born in Richmond County to Colon and Lillian King Hoover. He was the owner of Hoover's Landscaping Company in Eagle Springs and was a very devoted husband and grandfather for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Griffin Hoover, of the home; daughters, Rachel Bowers (Dwayne) of Robbins, Patricia Blackwell (Tim) of West End; son, Timothy Hoover (Christy), of Jackson Springs; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-granddaughters.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of NC, 401 Hedgemore Drive Suite 810, Charlotte, NC 28209.
