Annie Pauline Gatlin Hare Bowman

Biscoe - Annie Pauline Gatlin Hare Bowman, 85, of Biscoe, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Center Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Bowman was born in Randolph County to William Thomas and Rosa Emma Deaton Gatlin. She retired from Springs Inc. Aileen Plant in 1991. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Doak Hare, Jr. and Howard Bowman; sister, Claire Brewer; brothers, Franklin, Ralph, Lester, and Lonnie Gatlin. She is survived by her son, Doak Hare (Betty) of Candor; daughter, Teresa Kos of Rockingham; sister, Nellie Freeman (Wesley) of Asheboro; brothers, Ernest Gatlin (Mary) of Seagrove, Charles Gatlin of Bennett; 3 grandchildren. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Sharon Blake of Eagle Springs, for the compassionate care she gave to our loved one. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Center Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. D. C. Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
