Arthur Mabe

Arthur Mabe, 79, of Star, passed away on April 7, 2024.

Arthur was born on July 12, 1944, in Montgomery County to Preston and Stella Chappell Mabe. Arthur dedicated many years working in the lumber mill before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Marie Wright Mabe.

He is survived by his daughter, Stella Stuart (Scott) of Norwood and son, Preston Mabe of Elsberry, MO. He also leaves behind three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.

Services will be private.
