Betty Jo Chriscoe Greene

Mrs. Betty Jo Chriscoe Greene, 60, of 163 Nathan Dr., Biscoe, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at UNC Hospitals. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 5, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Britt-Deaton Cemetery, Auman Road, Biscoe. Mrs. Greene was born on March 4, 1952 to Simon and Connie Beane Chriscoe. She was a retired textile worker and attended Calvary Temple in Biscoe. Her family will remember her for her love of birds and flowers and her dog, Buster. Surviving are her Husband, Alton Lee Greene, of the home Brother, Vern Dee Chriscoe, Asheboro, NC Sister, Edna Graves, Randleman, NC In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie Beane and Howard W. Chriscoe, and her sister, Eva Mae Chriscoe. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, February 5 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
