Betty Williamson Jacob

BISCOE - Betty Williamson Jacob, 80, went home to be with her Savior Sunday, June 30, 2013, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 3, at First Baptist Church Biscoe with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Star. Mrs. Jacob was born in Montgomery County to John Stancil and Hettie Deaton Campbell. She was co-owner of C & B Upholstery in Biscoe. Mrs. Jacob was a member of First Baptist Church Biscoe where she taught Sunday school and was an active member of the JOY Group. She was an artist and had previously worked at Springs Industries and part-time as a postal clerk. Mrs. Jacob was predeceased by her husband, C. M. (Duck) Williamson; infant sons, Michael Charles and Dale Timothy Williamson. Surviving are her husband, Arnold Jacob of the home; daughters, Beverly Williamson and husband, Joseph Potter, of Asheville, Angela Grey and husband, Chris, of Aberdeen; step-daughters, Susan Brown, and husband, Gary, Lianna Bauer and husband, Steve; step-sons, Arnie Jacob and wife, Melissa, Pete Jacob and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Monica Staples, Auburn Staples, Zebulon Potter; ten step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 2, at Phillips Funeral Home, Star.
