Betty Ann Reynolds Batten

Salisbury - Betty Ann Batten, 85, formerly of Riblein Road, died Monday, November 23, 2015, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McLeod and Jason White officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mrs. Batten was born in Montgomery County to Everette Ray and Ellen Morris Reynolds. She was a retired textile employee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Batten.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie Batten Holt and husband, William, of Salisbury; son, Edward R. Batten and wife, Vickie, of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
