Beverly Nall Mabe, 72, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was a kind and compassionate woman who cared deeply for others and made sure everyone around her knew they were loved. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, and filled their lives with support, encouragement and love.
Beverly attended Forsyth Nursing School and began career as a nurse at WakeMed before choosing to dedicate her time to raising her children. She cherished her years as a devoted stay-at-home mother. In later years, she enjoyed her work at Lifeway Christian Bookstores, where her warmth, expertise and dedication made her a valued colleague.
She had a lifelong love of music and found great joy in singing with her sisters in their group, The Nall Sisters. Beverly was also an avid reader and puzzle solver, she created beautiful cross-stitch pieces and was a devoted fan of her beloved NC State Wolfpack. Above all, she loved God and her husband with all her heart. Her quick smile and welcoming hugs will deeply be missed by all who knew her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, John Roland Nall and Pauline Cagle Nall.
She is survived by her devoted husband of over 51 years, Steven Lynn Mabe; her children, Andrew Mabe and Jenny Mabe Brown (Matt) and her cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Adler Mabe; and Isaac and Audrey Brown. She is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy Nall (Judy), Sandra Davis (Winford) and Janice Nall Phillips; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who brought great joy to her life.
Beverly's life was a testament to love, faith and kindness. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, joyful heart and the light she shared with everyone she met.
A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held at Dover Baptist Church in Seagrove, NC, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Johnny Brown, Rev. Tim Howell and Rev. Chris Lee officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-2:50 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
