Eagle Springs - Billy Eugene Davis, 49, of 9875 Hwy 705 S, died Friday, October 14, 2011, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Junior Davis officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Randolph County and was a furniture repairman for Badcock Home Furnishing and More. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Lee Davis. Surviving are his father, James Mitchell Davis, Sr. and step-mother, Annie, of Asheboro; mother, Maudie Jane Davis Davis, of Asheboro; sister, Peggy Yates, of Trinity; brother, James Mitchell Davis, Jr., of Asheboro; step-sisters, Vivian Davis of Biscoe, Beth Davis of Asheboro, Renetta Brown of Randleman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
