Blanche Bray Farlowe

Robbins - Blanche Bray Farlowe, 101, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Mrs. Farlowe was born in Moore County to Elijah and Mary Ritter Bray. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Farlowe, and her son, Horace. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Sue Woodard and husband, Billy, of Star; son, Charles Farlowe and wife, Janet, of Ramseur; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lloyd, of Athens, GA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, June 15, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Randolph Memorial Park with the Rev. Al Trotter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374 or Elise Presbyterian Church, PO Box 637, Robbins, NC 27325.
