Bobby Ray Davis

Bobby Ray Davis, 67, of Star, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 21, 6:00 pm, at Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating.

Mr. Davis was born in Montgomery County to Claude R. and Nonnie Spivey Davis. He was a forklift driver working in the construction and furniture industry.

Surviving are Brenda G. Bowers, his special friend of fourteen years; one son, Eddie Davis of Star; three daughters, Brenda Britt of Star, Linda Davis of Star, Faye Auman of Star; one brother, Claude Davis, Jr. of Ramseur; four sisters, Annie Mae Batten of Star, Claudine Greene of Star, Betty Lucas of Seagrove, Janie Welch of Asheboro; six grandchildren, Natalie Davis, Brandon Britt, Jessica Britt, Sean Davis, Casey Davis, and Ian Auman.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 21, from 4 - 5:30 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.
