Brenda Sparks Bruce

Brenda Sue Sparks Bruce, age 65, of Robbins, passed away on September 27, 2022 at Peak Resources Pinelake in Carthage.

Brenda was born in Scotland County on October 7, 1956 to Fred and Eveline Watson Sparks. Brenda was a homemaker and she loved looking after her grandchildren.  She also loved sewing and doing jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Ralph Bruce, sisters Betty Lou and Corina; brothers Earl Sparks, Ronald Sparks and Freddie Sparks.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Cummings (Scottie) of Robbins; sons Beau Bruce ( Rachel) of Robbins and Luke Bruce of Candor; sisters Ruthie May of Olivia, NC and Nyoka of Simpsonville, SC.  Grandchildren Morgan, Emily, Benjamin, Samuel, Emma, Ellie and Wynonna. Great grandchildren Joaquin and Anna.

The family will receive family and friends at daughter, Mary Cummings house.

Mrs. Bruce's body will lie in repose on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.
