Brenda Morgan Burrow

Brenda Jane Morgan Burrow, age 70, of Troy, passed away on September 3, 2024, at High Point Medical Center.

Brenda was born on September 13, 1953, to Charlie and Betty Davis Morgan. She retired from Lancer's after 42 years of service. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother "Meme". She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers, blue birds and her many many hummingbirds that she fed daily. Brenda enjoyed surf fishing with family at Kure Beach and locally at Lake Tillery. She was a selfless person, always putting the needs of others first. She will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Dwain George, brother Jerry Morgan and granddaughter Marlee Rae Greene.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Burrow of the home; son Robert George (Melissa) of Asheboro; daughter Adrian Greene (Eric) of Wake Forest; and sister Darlene Bowman of Candor. As well as grandchildren Brandon George (Brandon McGrotha), Maxton Greene, Madilyn Greene, step grandchildren Makayla Hunt, Makenna Hunt, Malachi Hunt and Khloe Currin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Biscoe Cemetery with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Phillips Funeral Home from 10:00-12:00 pm.
