Star - Brenda Carolyn Yow Maness, 68, of Crooked Pine Drive, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Charles Fleshman officiating. Interment will be in Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Brenda was born in Randolph County to Elmer Elsie and Evie Louise Foster Yow. She worked for First National Bank and Randolph County Tax Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sascha Hoffmann. She is survived by her husband, James L. Maness, of the home; daughters: Sonya Hardy (Jerry), of Walkertown, Catherine Keating (P. J.), of Star, Jennifer Boyle (Jeff), of Virginia Beach, VA, Cynthia Gardner (Britt), of Star; sisters: Louise Walker (Doug), of Greensboro, Diane Causey (Gene), of Randleman; brother, Leon Yow (Pat)of Asheboro; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Hans, Owen, Payton, Nick, Sarah, Lucas, Will, and Emma; and one great-granddaughter, Pilot. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church.
