Candor- Bruce Wayne Baxter, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Bruce was born in Calhoun County, Alabama on March 24, 1949, to John Forney and Edna McGee Baxter. He was a retired superintendent for a construction company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and duck hunting. He loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Sanderson Baxter of the home; son Christopher Baxter (Delisha) of Oxford, Alabama; sister Shirley Helms (Danny) of Oxford, Alabama; brother Barry Baxter of High Point. Grandchildren Alexis and Crista and great grandchildren Roxy, Cordin and Dixie.
