Carl Edward Grey Jr.

Carl Edward Grey Jr., age 69, of Candor, passed away on October 22, 2024, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Mr. Grey was born in Montgomery County on January 3, 1955, to Carl and Sara Thompson Grey Sr. Carl honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Grey Dewitt of Gresham, Oregon and Rebecca Coleman of Georgia. Grandchildren Trevor McInnis, Sara McInnis, Kaya Draughon, Nesta Draughon, Drake Draughon, Seth Grey, Cyrus Hundley, Lillian Hundley, Myrabella Coleman and Connor Coleman. 

In addition to his family, Carl had the support of his devoted caregivers throughout the years, including Donald Harris Callicutt Jr. (Toni), Garrett and Karen McInnis (children: Levi and Jettson), Jessica and Brent Callicutt (children: Colton and Connor),  Anna Marie Callicutt, and Brian Keith Callicutt.
