Cecil Robinson Greene

Cecil Robinson Greene, age 84 of Biscoe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

Cecil was born on June 12, 1941, in Stanly County, NC to the late Guy Robinson Greene and the late Kathleen Ava McCaskill Greene. He was a retired Grocery Store Manager and a Corrections Officer with the N.C. Division of Prisons. He was a member of Candor Baptist Church and a former Sunday School teacher. He loved raising chickens. He was a member of the Biscoe Masonic Lodge #437. 

Cecil is survived by his daughters: Sharon Romero of Biscoe and Beverly Bean of Biscoe; son: Edward Greene (Tammie) of Biscoe; grandchildren: Terran Ivey (John), Seth Greene (Maddie), Elizabeth Romero, Natalie Romero, Sofia Romero, Alexander Romero, and Brandon Watson; great grandchildren: Jace Efthimiadis, Ella Grace Romero, and Lakelynn Greene. He was preceded in death by his wife Joann Greene.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Candor Baptist Church, P.O. Box 614, Candor, NC 27229.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Candor Baptist Church, 120 W. Main St., Candor, NC officiated by Rev. Steve Jarman and Rev. Hugh Thompson. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be at Macedonia Presbyterian Church, 3269 Candor-Troy Rd., Biscoe, NC 27209, with Masonic rites.
