Celestine Hanlon Dodge Celestine Hanlon Dodge, age 90, of Petoskey, Michigan, died October 14, 2008, at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix, Michigan. Celestine was born on September 10, 1918, in Ghent, Kentucky, the daughter of Perry and Leontine (Keene) Hanlon and was raised in North Carolina. She graduated from Star High School in Star, NC and later received an Associates Degree at the Lewisburg Business College. In 1942, Celestine married her husband of 59 years, George M. Dodge, in Star and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2001. Celestine is survived by a son, Patrick, of California; 3 granddaughters, Sarah Green, Anna Ferris, and Tracy Beaver; a brother and his wife, Carl and Judy Hanlon of West Jefferson, NC; and a sister, Nancy Cook of Beaufort, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Ruby Hanlon; her husband, George; son, Perry, sisters, Louise Reed and Joyce McLeod; and brother, P.O. Hanlon, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the Leach Cemetery in Star with the Rev. James R. Cagle officiating.
