Candor - Charles Richard “Louie” McBride , 77, formerly of Star, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2016, at White Oak Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jamie Sink officiating. Military honors will be provided by Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. McBride was born in Montgomery County to William Wade and Pauline White McBride. He was a US Army veteran and was retired from Springs Inc. Aileen Plant.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry McBride, of Troy; brother, Wayne McBride (Joanne) , of Star; sisters, Juanita Lambeth and Linda Gail Rhew, both of Star; grandchildren, Ashley Charles, Amber Southard, Brittany Southard; great-grandson, Kyle Bradley.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM, Friday, June 10, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
