Clifton Allen

Clifton Allen, 76, of Star, died Friday, June 04, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 07, 2010, at Flint Hill Baptist Church in Robbins with the Rev. William Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Allen was a native of Montgomery County, a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, and a retired mail carrier with the U. S. Postal Service. Surviving are: Two Sons: Dennie Allen, Star, NC Darrin Allen, Star, NC One Brother: Sam Allen, Bessemer City, NC One Sister: Mildred Hunsucker, Biscoe, NC 4 grandchildren He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Allen, and his daughter Deborah Allen. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 06, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
