Star - Clinton Dewitt Davis, 77, of 453 Dover Church Road, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Randolph Hospice House.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Dover Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Don Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born in Montgomery County to Albert and Ruby Cooper Davis. He served as a unit commissioner with Montgomery County Boy Scouts and was a retired electrician with Vick Brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn G. Davis, of the home; son, Cecil Davis of Star; brother, Sidney Davis of Biscoe; sisters, Maude Morgan of Pleasant Garden, Jenny Carter of Troy; 2 grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
