Crissie Rouse York

Crissie Mae Rouse York, 86, of Eagle Springs, passed away on October 10, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Crissie was born on May 13, 1937, in Moore County to Dewey and Mamie Horner Rouse. She was a retired hosiery mill employee and a member of Unity Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny York and daughter Kathy York Alexander.

Crissie is survived by her sons Tony York (Debbie) of Seagrove; Mark York (Renee) of Robbins and Christopher York (Liane) of West End; brother James "Ben" Rouse of York, PA. Twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Crissie's honor to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation at 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374 and Unity Grove Baptist Church at 849 Mt. Carmel Road, Carthage, NC 28327.
