Daniel Thomas Baldwin

Daniel Thomas "Papa" Baldwin, 71, of Seagrove, passed away on December 21, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Daniel was born on March 15, 1952, in Anderson, SC to John and Betty Cheek Baldwin. Daniel proudly served in the US Marines.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher McCaskill.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Davis McCaskill Baldwin of the home; sons, Johnny McCaskill of Seagrove, and Joseph Davis of Seagrove; daughters, Jessica Ray of Seagrove, and Marie Davis of Seagrove; sisters, Brenda Haywood of Gastonia and Krystal Bentley of Gastonia.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Baldwin Family Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Frankie Owens officiating and with military rites by Randolph Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at Phillips Funeral Home from 12:00-1:30 pm.
