Star - Daniel Thomas Davis, 32, of Star, died Friday, January 13, 2012, at McBride Lumber Company in Star. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, at Leach Cemetery, Dameron Street, with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating. Daniel was a native of Montgomery County and was an employee of McBride Lumber Company. Surviving are his father, Thomas Davis of Star; mother, Virginia Davis of Mt. Gilead; brother, Jacob Davis of Star; sister, Tabitha Rowell of Robbins; maternal grandfather, Enoch Parnell Bentley of TN. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM, Tuesday, January 17, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
