Donald A. Richardson Eagle Springs - Donald Alton Richardson, 77, of 15484 NC Hwy 24/27 West, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Eagle Springs, with the Rev. Billy Reynolds and the Rev. Bobby Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. He was a native of Moore County, a member of Big Oak Christian Church, worked for 40 years as a long distance trucker, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Ethel M. Richardson, of the home; daughters, Dianna A. Richardson of Eagle Springs, Donna G. Richardson Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sisters, Florene Williams of Eagle Springs, Velma Cope of Kernersville, and Brenda McNulty of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
