Doris Stewart Goodwin

Doris Jane Stewart Goodwin, age 91, of Biscoe, passed away on June 22, 2024, at her residence. 

She was born on November 11, 1932, in Montgomery County to the late Tommy and Hattie Kennedy Stewart. Doris found joy in watching Westerns and NASCAR and cherished the time spent with her friends and loved ones.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Edward Goodwin, sons Clifton Donald Maness and Eddie Goodwin; sisters Vida Mabe, Bonnie Goodwin, Maude Ray, and Irene Warner; as well as her brother Floyd Stewart.

She is survived by her son Ronnie Maness (Jamie), brother Thomas Stewart (Jean), grandchildren Olivia Goodwin, Jody Warner, Robert Maness, Patricia Maness, Ronnie Maness Jr., Donald Maness, and Kendall Jones. As well as nine great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 26th at 1:00 pm at Biscoe Cemetery with Jeffrey Goodwin officiating.

The family will be gathering at 209 Church Street in Biscoe after the service.
