Dorothy Carol Davis

Dorothy Carol Davis, age 81, of Liberty, NC, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro with family at her side.

Dorothy was born on November 24, 1943, in Montgomery County to Daniel Webster and Exie Mae Page Davis. Dorothy worked most of her career in the textile industry at Clayson's Knitting. She loved nature, flowers, gospel music and traveling with tours.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rev. Martin E. Davis, Herbert L. Davis, Calvin J. Davis, Earl Clinton Davis, and Joseph W. Davis Sr.

She is survived by her sister, Ottie D. McQueen and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Dover Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Charles McCallum officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:50 pm at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
