Dorothy Ingram Greene

Dorothy Ingram Greene, 73, of Star, died Friday, September 2, 2016 at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 5, at Lomax Memorial Baptist Church, 691 Correll Drive, Troy, with the Rev. Chip Bryant and Rev. Jack Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Greene was born in Montgomery County to Henry Clay and Beulah Ingram. She was retired from the furniture industry.

Surviving are sons, Steve Britt of Lexington, Dennis Britt of Asheboro; daughters, Janice Beane of Star, Karen Spencer of Star, Lisa Reid of Southern Pines; brothers, Kenneth Ingram (Diane) of Thomasville, Wayne Ingram (Janice) of Biscoe, David Ingram (Tammy) of Troy; sisters, Brenda Owens (Darrell) of Mt. Gilead, Linda Sue Smith of Davenport, IA; nine grandchildren; and, nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Monday, September 5, at Lomax Memorial Baptist Church. At other times, the family will be at Star Bed & Breakfast.
