Troy - Eddie James Johnson, 39, of 710 Crouch Street, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Thomasville Medical Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Southside Cemetery in Troy with the Rev. Martin E. Davis officiating. He was a native of Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Johnson, Jr. Surviving are his son, Jordan Johnson, of Florida; daughter, Ava Johnson, of the home; parents, Jimmy Thomas Johnson and Brenda Faye Burris Johnson, of Troy; brother, William Johnson, of Troy; sister, Kim Martinez, of Troy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
