Seagrove - Elizabeth Ann Jackson Kern, 75, of US Hwy 220 Alt S, Seagrove, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 21, 2014, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Jamie Sink officiating. Interment will be in Star Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kern was born in Moore County to Theodore and Nellie Taylor Jackson. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a retired hosiery mill worker. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Kern, Jr., of the home; four daughters, Teresa Yarboro of Florida, Darlene Chappell of Candor, Kim Epley of West End, Tina Dunn of Troy; three sons, Paul Yarboro of Colorado, Teddy Yarboro of Florida, Timothy Kern III of Star; two sisters, Mae Cooper of Asheboro, Edna Williamson of Biscoe; two brothers, Robert Jackson of Biscoe, Gene Jackson of Biscoe; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
