Elsie Millard Hancock

Mr. Elsie Millard Hancock, 88, of 1422 Capelsie Road., Candor, died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 16, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star. Mr. Hancock was born in Montgomery County to Samuel T. and Elizabeth Lemonds Hancock. He was employed with Capel's Inc. as a fixer and foreman. He attended Biscoe Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Mae Deaton Hancock, of Biscoe; Son: Millard Paul (Mickey) Hancock, Troy, NC; Sisters: Odell Cranford, Biscoe, NC Fannie Blackmon, Mt. Pleasant, NC; Several nieces and nephews.
