Ernest "Clifford" King
Ernest "Clifford" King, 85, of Seagrove, passed away on December 22, 2022 at Randolph Hospice House.
Clifford was born on September 20, 1937, in Montgomery County, to Virgil and Martisha Ashworth King.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Horton King of the home; daughter, Linda Davis (Jeff) of Star; sister, Mary "Becky" Bullins of Sophia; grandchildren, Krystle Nooe and Justin Davis; great grandchildren, Levi Nooe and Holden Davis.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Center Cross Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:50 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, North Carolina Chapter P.O. Box 11796 Charlotte NC 28220.
