Esther Bean Cole

Mama Cole Charlotte - Esther Bean Cole, 106, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at White Oak Manor. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Asbury Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mama Cole was born in Montgomery County to Oliver Duckery and Talitha Cornelison Bean. She was preceded in death by her husband and three children. She was a member of Weaverville Baptist Church and was such a kind, wonderful, and loving lady. She enjoyed sewing and making cakes and pies. She will be missed. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Linda Basini of FL, Sandy Smith of Winston-Salem, Annette Cole of FL, Ridley Hutchinson of CO, Reginald Cole of Charlotte, Teresa Cole Watson of FL, Eva Cole Matthews of Charlotte; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and etc. The family will receive friends following the services in the fellowship hall. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at White Oak Manor and Hospice of Charlotte.
