Eula Maness Stevens

Star - Eula Mae Maness Stevens, 89, of 112 Jackson Lane, died Monday, November 15, 2010, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Elder David Brooks and Rev. Jack Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery. Mrs. Stevens was born in Montgomery County to John and Mamie Lassiter Maness. She was retired from the Russell Group where she worked in management for 55 years. Her husband, Fred James Stevens, preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters, Phyllis Stevens of Star, Wanda Jackson of Star; brother, Elwood Maness, of New Bern; sisters, Betty John Patterson of Grove City, PA, Joan Bennett of Star, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home.
