Evelyn Parsons Britt

Evelyn Lee Parsons Britt, age 85, of Biscoe, passed away on January 29, 2026.

Evelyn was born on May 23, 1940, in Montgomery County to Lee and Gladys Parsons. Evelyn dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. She loved to crochet, do word searches, bird watching and playing the piano. Above all, her heart belonged to her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Britt, granddaughter Erica Morgan and sister Barbara Lee.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters Emily Dunn (Darrell) of Star and Jeanna Morgan (Eric) of Seagrove, grandchildren Lauren McNeill (Tyler), Thomas Morgan (Sabrina) and Ethan Dunn (Karla). As well as great grandchildren Erica Louise McNeill and Roscoe Calhoun Morgan and special nephew Tim Greene (Janet).

Visitation will be Tuesday evening February 3, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday February 4, 2026, at the Bethel Church of God located at 1183 W Chrisco Rd. Seagrove NC 27341, service time will be 2:00 pm with Rev Larry May officiating. Burial will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Britt Family cemetery located at 454 Ball Park rd. Biscoe, NC.
