High Point - Evelyn Brown Hill, 76, of James Court, High Point, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Hospice Home at High Point. A private service will be held at a later date. She was born in Moore County to George C. and Artie Burns Brown. She was a retired rural mail carrier with the US Postal Service. She is survived by her three sons, James Hill of Morganton, John Hill of High Point, Bob Hill of High Point; niece, Darlene Cohoe, of Raleigh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Star House of Praise, 217 McBride Lumber Road, Star, NC 27356. A private service will be held at a later date.
