Ferrell Fay Lassiter Auman

Seagrove - Ferrell Fay Lassiter Auman, 90, died Monday, June 27, 2016, at Cross Road Retirement Community.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2016, at Asbury Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Wayne Bryson and Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

She was born in Montgomery County to George and Flona Dale Hare Lassiter. She was a retired hosiery mill administrative assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Bryce Auman, Sr. and daughter, Fay Marie Jordan.

She is survived by three sons, Jesse Bryce Auman, Jr. (Mary) of Sevierville, TN, Steven Kelly Auman of Granite Quarry, and Larry Gene Auman (Sharon) of Southport; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
