Flora Mae Lewis Jackson

Biscoe - Flora Mae Lewis Jackson, 93, of 307 Hunsucker Street, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Main Street Baptist Church, where she was a charter member, with the Rev. D. C. Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born in Montgomery County to Sam and Barbara Batten Lewis. She was a former textile worker at Morgan & Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jackson. Surviving are her sons, Richard Jackson, of Biscoe, Sammy Jackson and wife, Dawn, of Biscoe; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
