Geneva Ward Boone

Ether - Geneva Ward Boone, 87, formerly of US 220 Alt N, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2012, at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Mrs. Boone was born in Montgomery County to Norman and Bertha Mabe Ward. She was a retired secretary for Russell Hosiery Mill, where she was employed for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie W. Boone; sister, Jewel Lane Ward; brother, Edwin Ward. She is survived by her son, Donald Boone, of Ether; daughter, Janice East and husband, E. W., of Biscoe; grandchildren, Todd East and wife, Daisha, of Pinehurst, Amy Presler and husband, Jim, of Albemarle, Beth Boone of Greensboro; great-grandchildren, Ross and Jax.
