Geneva C. King Seagrove - Geneva Mae Comer King, 77, of Reece Drive, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2015, at Asbury Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bryson, Rev. Joshua Hughes, and Rev. Clyde Comer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. King was born in Moore County to the Rev. Charlie and Eutishie Gordon Comer. She was a retired food service employee with Montgomery County Schools. She is survived by her husband, Reece King, of the home; sons, Gary King and wife, Janet, of Seagrove, Yancy King and wife, Kelley, of Siler City; daughter, Tammy Hussey and husband, Donald, of Seagrove; brother, J. C. Comer, of Seagrove; grandchildren, Natalie Poe and husband, Brian, Olivia Garner, Dustin King, Aaron Scott, Rebecca Hussey, Will Hussey; great-grandchildren, Reece Poe and Kynleigh Poe. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. Memorials may be made to Asbury Baptist Church, 395 Asbury Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341 or to a charity of one's choice.
