Georgia O. McNeill Seagrove - Georgia Owens McNeill, age 86, of 7388 Union Grove Church Road, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at Union Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Ron Chaney and the Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was a native of Stokes County and was retired from Luck's. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin H. McNeill. Surviving are her daughters, Rachel Hall of Seagrove, Linda Garner of Asheboro, Shirley Moffitt of Seagrove; sons, Raeford McNeill of Seagrove, Charles McNeill of Seagrove, James McNeill of Asheboro, Henry McNeill of Seagrove, Danny Ray McNeill of Seagrove, Jerry Wayne McNeill of Seagrove, sisters, Annie Strider of Biscoe, Marie Brown of Robbins, Lena Mabe of Carthage; brother, Carl Owens of Biscoe; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
