Grace Dean Wiles Criscoe

Grace Dean Wiles Criscoe, 78, formerly of Star, of 213 Tanglewood Court, Ridgeway, SC, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at UPAC - Tanglewood. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2011, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Beaver officiating. Mrs. Criscoe was born in Wilkes County, NC to Marvin Theodore and Grace Florence Holland Wiles. She was a retired pairer in the Finishing Department at Clayson Knitting Co. Inc., a member of the First Baptist Church, Star, and a member of the Halcyon Woman's Club in Star. She was predeceased by her husand, J.C. Criscoe and daughter, Denise Roanne Criscoe. She is survived by her son, Donald Criscoe and wife, Nancy, of Ridgeway, SC; brother, Douglas Wiles, of Statesville; sisters, Virginia Stanbabh of Pennsylvania, Helen Bumgarner of Charlotte, Edna Thompson of Star, Irene Russell of Hildabran, Nancy Allen of Hickory; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Dean Criscoe of Charlotte, Christy Denise Nall Beaver and husband, Chris, of Charlotte, Cassie Lynn Nall of Charlotte, Zachary Curtis Criscoe of Concord, Brandon Lee Criscoe of Ridgeway, SC; 2 great-grandchildren, Brianna Myers of Waleska, GA and expecting Caleigh Grace Beaver. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
