Helen K. Brewer Seagrove - Helen Kennedy Brewer, 68, of 1347 Willie Road, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2008, at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was a native of Moore County and was a retired seamstress from Pine Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gurney C. Brewer. Surviving are her sons, W.T. Brewer of Seagrove, Dean Brewer of Biscoe; daughters, Brenda Brewer of Robbins, Tammy Barus of Robbins, Ronda Brewer of Seagrove, Robin Hancock of Robbins; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the home. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
