Helen Covington Rush

Biscoe - Helen Clayton Covington Rush, 95, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at Randolph Hospice House.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham with the Rev. Vic Hill officiating.

Mrs. Rush was born in Richmond County to Henry Clay and Frances Mae McDuffie Covington.

She was a retired postal clerk/postmistress at Biscoe Post Office, a member of Page Memorial UMC, and was a volunteer receptionist at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Rush.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sarah Williams, of Aiken, SC; cousins, Michael McDuffie and Luanne McDuffie, both of Rockingham.
