Hubert L. Chriscoe Star - Hubert Lee Chriscoe, 56, of 650 Okeewemee-Star Road, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Randolph County and was a former inspector with Candor Hosiery. Surviving are his wife, Martha Chriscoe, of the home; son, Travis Chriscoe, of Seagrove; step-sons, Dwayne Greene of Norman, Scott Greene of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, Paul Chriscoe of Thomasville, Frankie Chriscoe of Asheboro, Glen Chriscoe of Seagrove; sisters, Phyllis Davis of Robbins, Sherry Brady of Ramseur; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at 2655 Brower Mill Road, Seagrove.
