Ida Ruth Nall Whiteside

Pinehurst - Ida Ruth Nall Whiteside, age 86, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

Mrs. Whiteside was born in Moore County on May 31, 1931 to Clyde and Clara Davis (Phillips) Nall. She was a retired office administrator.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe S. Whiteside, Sr.; sister, Virginia Nall Hussey; and brother, Ralph Nall.

She is survived by her son, Jody S. Whiteside, Jr., of Murphy; daughter, Gail Whiteside, of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Jennifer Kopp, Barrett Kopp, Allyson Kopp, Sam Whiteside, Grayson Whiteside, and Rachel Whiteside; great-granddaughter, Kailey Kopp.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Sink officiating.
