Irene Freeman Brewer

Star - Irene Freeman Brewer, 91, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A private service will be held. Mrs. Brewer was born on June 15, 1921, in Montgomery County to Neill W. and Thelma James Freeman. She owned and operated Irene's Beauty Shop until she retired. She was a member of Star Presbyterian Church and was a member of Star Chapter 111 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnie Brewer. She is survived by her sister, Ramona F. Kivett, of Star; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Star Presbyterian Church, PO Box 237, Star, NC 27356.
