James Floyd Haywood

James Floyd Haywood, age 72, of Biscoe, passed away on August 19, 2022 at his home.

James was born in Montgomery County on September 5, 1949 to Paul and Myrtle Staley Haywood. He was a retired US Navy veteran, who served in Vietnam, and had 26 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leon Haywood.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth McCaskill Haywood of the home; daughters Angela Latham (Darrell) of Troy; Sonya Parsons (Edward) of Troy; Crystal Rushing (Bobby) of Loris, SC; sister Phyllis Thompson (J.R.) of Candor; and brother Ivey Haywood of Biscoe. Grandchildren Darrell Latham, Jacob Latham (Mackenzie), Austin Cesaro (Melinda), Tiffany Cesaro, Ryder Freeman, Cris Rushing, and Baleigh Rushing.  Great grandchildren Claire Latham, Serenity Cesaro, Adrianna Cesaro and Anyi Cesaro

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at New Birth of the Living God at 11:00 am with the Rev. Junior Davis officiating.
